Harrodsburg, Kentucky is a city found in Mercer County. It serves as the county seat and was home to roughly 8,400 people as of the 2010 census. Harrodsburg is considered Kentucky’s oldest city, and it has also been acknowledged as the oldest permanent settlement west of the U.S. Appalachians.
